Dave Chappelle Announces Intimate Fall Tour

Dave Chappelle will be embarking on an intimate U.S. tour this fall, hitting small clubs in the Mountain States and Northeast.

The 17-date trek kicks off at Salt Lake City's Capitol Theatre on Sept. 14 and wraps Oct. 7 at the Hershey Theatre in Hershey, Penn., with stops in Idaho, New Hampshire and Connecticut. To accommodate for the small venues, several of the shows will have two sets.

The tour also includes three straight nights at New York's 500-person capacity Gramercy Theatre, with two sets each night.

The former Chappelle's Show host has favored smaller shows like these as of late, despite possessing the star power to fill much larger venues. Earlier this year he performed a number of shows at the Gramercy Theatre in New York and also held a one-night gig at Los Angeles' Club Bahia.
