I have always been fond of the 24- bar blues and the track "Tyrone" sets it straight, Blues waltzes are usually 24- bars long, twice as long as the traditional 12-bar blues. Blues waltzes often have unusual changes because the greater space in a 24-bar form allows for broader harmonic variation.
