This June, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Lincoln Center for a two-week, 15-performance engagement in the cultural heart of New York City. Repertory highlights include: the world premiere of Exodus by Rennie Harris the company premiere of No Longer Silent by Robert Battle a new production of Talley Beatty’s Toccata a new production of Judith Jamison’s "A Case of You" duet from Reminiscin’ These works will be joined by recent audience favorites and Ailey classics, including Alvin Ailey’s Night Creature and Revelations Robert Battle's Strange Humors and Takademe Ronald K. Brown’s Grace Jacqulyn Buglisi's Suspended Women Ulysses Dove's Bad Blood Hofesh Shechter's Uprising Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain Pas de Deux
The Lincoln Center season is also the last chance to see Wayne McGregor's Chroma in Ailey's repertory, and marks the final performances of long-time Company members Antonio Douthit-Boyd and Kirven Douthit-Boyd.
Join us for Opening Night (Wednesday, June 10th at 7pm) for The Ailey Spirit Gala benefit, with a special program. Proceeds support Ailey's vital education programs. A soirée for Gala guests on the promenade follows the performance.
