Vogue Paris Features First Black Cover Model In 5 Years

Liya Kebede is gracing the May 2015 cover of Vogue Paris and it’s the first time a Black model has been on the cover in 5 years. Kebede, who is a L’Oreal Paris spokesmodel, is wearing a Christian Dior jumpsuit and was styled and shot by Inez & Vinoodh.

I guess Vogue Paris is following in the footstep of Vogue UK, who had Jourdan Dunn on its cover–making her the first Black model in 12 years. Yay for diversity? Let’s see how long it’ll take for it to happen again.
