Carteles Magazine (1916-1960)

Carteles magazine was published in Havana from 1919 to 1960. Many covers featured illustrated gorgeous pin up models. The cover images were produced by Andres Garcia, the "Norman Rockwell of Cuba." Not a few the covers depict images of Afro-Cubans as imagined by the artist.
